I’m not just a person pretending to be my dog on the internet sometimes…
I’m actually a Graphic Design student, I’ve never blogged before, but I’ve always had sites to post my work.
I decided to start this blog because, DAMN MY DOG IS AWESOME, but also because I want people to see how these “vicious killers” are poorly generalized as a breed, even though pit bull is not a breed.
My dog has meant the world to me and I couldn’t imagine my life without him. He makes me want to get up every day. As someone who has dealt with severe depression and anxiety their whole life, after getting Kingston, I have barely had any panic attacks and my moods have sprung to life. I now feel an urge to live and experience and to do something with myself. Now I don’t lay around all day feeling sorry for myself, I am constantly working on homework, going for walks, playing outside, going places, and drawing/painting.
I never once made him take on my problems, but somehow, they all just faded away. He gave me drive to do better with myself, and so I am thankful for a banned little friend.
Soon, I hope this silly ban becomes obsolete. Many people have had their companions taken away from them and I could not fathom life without Kingston in it. He’s the best dog I’ve ever met, and continues to show me what being an amazing animal is all about. The positivity that comes from me is now full and alive and I feel like I can do anything. <3
